Treasure Island installs 2950 TimeLox DC-One IR5 locks  
Treasure Island (TI), Las Vegas, is undergoing a major renovation these days. As a part of the renovation the hotel will install TimeLox’ top of the line locking system, DC-One IR5. The installation includes 2950 locks for guest rooms, 100 back of house locks and 8 elevator readers. The front desk will be equipped with 31 card encoders. Installation of the locks will start week 19 and takes about six months.

Treasure Island is a paradise for adults, which includes some of the hippest bars and clubs in town, a tropical pool area with party tub, upscale restaurants and “Mystère” by Cirque du Soleil, one of the most visually stunning shows in Las Vegas.

 
 
InterContinental in Boston  
The InterContinental Boston will be a $ 330 million, 21 story waterfront hotel and residential project. It will include 424 hotel rooms and 130 luxury condos on its upper floors. It will be the first InterContinental hotel in Boston.

InterContinental Boston selected TimeLox DC-one IR5 as their locking system.

The InterContinental Boston project has been in the conceptual stage for nearly 14 years. Construction is now underway and slated for completion in August/September 2006

 
 
The Wynn Las Vegas Casino & Resort opens  
 
 
 
Wynn Las Vegas, developed by Stephen A. Wynn, has now opened its doors. The newly built giant resort with its 2,716 hotel rooms will employ over 8,000 people. It is intended to be the pre-eminent luxury hotel casino in Las Vegas. At a cost of $2.7 billion, it is the most expensive casino ever built.

In addition to features such as remote room change with no re-encoding and remote check-in for the guests, the system offers The One card solution. It gives guests access to their rooms, in-room safes, refreshment centers, casino, shops, restaurants, golf club and more with the swipe of a single keycard.

One-Card provides a secure, cashless environment for guests, increasing onsite point-of-sale transactions while providing coveted guest history, profiling, frequent-stay and preference

The premises of the Wynn casino
Wynn Las Vegas will showcase a 111,000 square foot casino, 2,716 hotel rooms, 19 distinctive dining experiences, a 2,087-seat showroom, 74,700 square feet of retail space, over 223,000 square feet of convention space, an exclusive on-site 18-hole championship golf course and state-of-the-art recreational facilities. The resort will feature a full-service Ferrari and Maserati dealership and art gallery displaying works from The Wynn Collection, which at various times has included works by such masters as Gauguin, Matisse, Cézanne, Van Gogh, Rembrandt and Picasso.

Las Vegas' most profitable hotel-casino has recently opened more than 900 additional rooms, giving them a total of 4,000 rooms. All rooms are equipped with TimeLox DC-One IR5 door units communicating with Inncom (IR5 On-line solution).

A cost efficient alternative to hard-wired systems – the TimeLox DC-One IR5 On-line solution utilizes infrared communication technology that was developed in partnership with INNCOM International Inc. The On-line option IR5 allows the front desk and security personnel to detect ‘door ajar’ conditions and immediately cancel lost staff cards without the need to visit the door units locally. It also provides sequential and roaming intruder alarms, low battery/maintenance needed notification, an instant staff locator, and an all-inclusive event list with real-time data transfer. In case of emergency, e.g. fire, all doors can be set in open mode from the reception or back office.

The Bellagio Spa Tower
The 33-story tower has 928 rooms and suites, and includes a new upscale restaurant, four special retail shops, 70,000 additional square feet of meeting space. The Spa Tower, encompasses 819 guest rooms and 109 suites on the top seven floors, including two 4,500 square foot presidential suites that cost $5,000 a night.
